PRAGUE CHAMBER BALLET
Wed 12 Mar 2003,
Thu 13 Mar 2003, P. Delcroix / A. Part, S. Barber, O. Ornstein: Son CheminPatrick Delcroix prepared the choreography full of technically difficult passages, in which he combines neo-classical and modern dance style. He insists on perfect movement co-ordination of dancers, who complete the general impression by whispering, screaming, or laughing.
M. Hanusova / P. De Sarasate: SaturninZdenek Jirotka's book of the same name, Saturnin, inspired choreography of Marika Hanusová. However, it does not attempt to describe the line of the story in movement, but tries to catch the traits of the each of the characters in a humorous way and to play up their little intrigues against each other. P. Zuska / C. Saint-Saëns, C. Pugni: Marie's DreamPetr Zuska's choreography was inspired by a dream of Marie Taglioni, one of the most important ballet personalities of the first half of the 19th century and he created a dreamy vision of the ethereal queen, in which he discloses the mystery of human soul, independent from time, fashion, or culture. | ||
