How does it look like during Children's Studio? There is a video from last session with parents at the end of the school year 2016/2017.
Dance-movement lessons for children which are developing their creativity, perception of rhythm, space, dynamics, energy and cooperation with other children. Lessons are led by selected lecturers, active dance artists and pedagogues in collaboration with musicians. Children in Children's studio meet every Wednesday from October to May at regular time.
Creative lessons of Children's studio are opened for three groups:
15:00 - 16:10 children 8 - 12 years
16:20 - 17:05 children 4 – 6 years
17:15 - 18:15 children 6 - 8 years
The age group is only indicative, the children will be divided by the tutors after the first sample hour.
The first sample lesson will be on 3rd October and it is obligatory to apply for it in advance. Dealine for applications is on 15th September 2018.
Due to big interest is the capacity of sample lesson now full. We do not accept other applications. We will inform you about news and other options on this website during October.
Please bare in mind the age limit of children 4-12 years. We do not accept children under the age of 4. We prefer to have self-reliant children so they could develop equally their physical abilities and skills.

Barbora Látalová is a dancer and teacher, a graduate of the Duncan Centre Conservatory, where she taught Dance Education to children. She completed an internship at Hunter College of City University of New York, where she studied modern dance and dance therapy at NYU at Miriam Roskin Berger, and also studied dance at the lycée in Prague and movement at the acting faculty of HINT University in Norway. Since 2002 she is a member of the NIE international theatre group. She is the co-author of the dance performance Fg = G [(m₁m₂)/r²] / Dance and Physics, a project that includes interactive workshops for children in schools. As part of the Dance for Schools program she regularly teaches at the elementary school at Havlíčkovo nám. in Prague 3 and at the V Zahrádkách elementary school.
Theatre and dance perfomer and creator, experienced lecturer and producer. He studied at dance conservatory Duncan centre Prague, after that he transfer to The Prague Conservatoire for music-drama field. Graduate of theatre academy - Mime department of Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Amsterdamu. In 2017 he completed 5year drama/arte-teraphy training focused on method DvT- Developmental transformation. He is working on his own author and interpretation work including producktion ,acting, dance and direction. (titles: Tak přesně o ráji...to není!, A je to!, STICKER aj.). He colaborated as an author and interpreter with various Czech and Dutch theatre and dance ensembles, as well for children with a choreographer Mirka Eliášová presented in PONEC - dance venue (Momo, World of Paper). He is a co-founder of creative and production association Crewcollective z.s.. He is engaged in work with children focused on movement and drama education and in drama- therapeutial context as well. Dancer, choreographer and teacher. A graduate of the Duncan Centre Conservatory, and dance pedagogy seminars at HAMU and JAMU, courses in children's yoga methodology and Pilates methodology. As a dancer, she has participated in many dance and theatre projects presented in the Czech Republic and abroad. In cooperation with Martina Trpišovská she has created several acclaimed choreographies. She taught TPV as part of the Dance for Schools project and taught dance and movement at kindergarten, elementary school and arts schools. She is currently working on a project entitled Animal Carnival and collaborates with the Ponec Theatre Children's Studio.
Trombonist, musical improviser and idea maker. He studied at the Jan Neruda Grammar School in a program with a musical focus and at the Prague Conservatory. In 2015, he graduated from the Bard College Conservatory of Music in the USA and then spent a year on a Darmasiswa internship in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where he studied gamelan, traditional Indonesian music. In addition to playing classical music on trombone, both solo, chamber and orchestral, he also devotes himself to other genres (jazz, swing, klezmer, samba, etc.) and music for theatre and dance performances. He improvises with various dancers and musical groups (Voříšci, Moving Orchestra, Pražský improvizační orchestr, B4, etc.). He also focuses on improvisation for children with the aim of developing natural musical perception. Not just a passive musician, he also participates in the preparation and creation of both theatre performances and children's movement lessons. He is the musician of the PONEC Theatre Children's Studio and the Dance for Schools project.
