The theatre company Debris was established on the original basis of the ensemble Hubris. It has existed and worked creatively (with 1999–2004 break) already for 15 years. The fundamental means of expression of the ensemble which mostly focuses on classical themes was a nonverbal approach (Kafka: Trial, J. L.Borgés: Mark´s Gospel, Joyce: Ulysses, Jarry: King Ubu, S. Beckett, Murphy, Dych). Later the ensemble concentrated on author evidences. During the period of its existence it has created more than twelve performances except for the projects in which the members participated on the occasion of cooperation with significant theatres and personalities of domestic and also foreign scene. The individual projects arise from the knowledge of development in the field of contemporary dance, performance, installation and site specific. The present more intimate arrangement of the ensemble tends to motion and dance theatre, however it does not eliminate the synthetic insight of the used media.
