A new dance piece by Petra Fornayová and NANOHACH Who is Annik is a fictituous conflict of two women of a singer Ian Curtis from Joy Division band
A dance theatre ensemble NANOHACH has been since July preparing a new choreography Who is Annik? with a Slovakian choreographer Petra Fornayová. Inspiration for the piece that will be performed by two women dancers (Eliška Kašparová and Marta Trpišovská) is an autobiographical story of the musician Ian Curtis from Joy Division. The fictitious encounter of his two women - the wife and the lover promises emotional and intense spectacle. The premiere is on 21st September, 8pm and the next show on 22nd September.

A dance-theatre performance FAIRY TALE IN DROPS will initiate a new fall season for children
Let your children together with actors and dancers flow on the waves of a story about love that may overcome a bad will of the Lord of the Rain. Chldren can under the guidance of a choreographer Lenka Tretiagová experience a game with movement, they can actively participate on the action on the stage and maybe also help Ondrej in search for his true love. The piece will be presented on Friday 11th September at 8:30am and 10:30am. Children do not need anything beside their own fantasy!

100 WOUNDED TEARS was awarded prestigious Herald Angel Award at Fringe Festival in Edinburgh!
The performance 100 WOUNDED TEARS created by Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea proved to be very successful at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The expectation of the public and critics were very high, considering the last year success of the piece HOLDIN' FAST. The DOT504 dance company was the only Czech theatre company representing our Republic at the interantional theatre festiva. Whithin the competition of 2000 of ensembles from all over the world, 100 Wounded Tears was awarded the prestigious Herald Angel Award.

Come to see a story of seven characters pulling out a devil for a tail from our entrails and showing him in his full insidiousness. Cowardliness of a poor, humiliation of a queen, harm to a kitty. A crude performance 100 Wounded Tears that can be considered even cruder as it displays a real world round the corner which we aren't daring enough to look at. The newest project created by DOT 504 dance company and Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea (RootlessRoot Company), successful choreographers recognized by the international scene of physical theatre.

The most prestigious award in the field of contemporary dance theatre, SAZKA Prize for "discovery dance" was awarded to Kateřina Stupecká for her piece Da Capo
Within the gala closing of the TANEC PRAHA festival Czech Dance with World-known Choreographers held in O2 arena and moderated by Marek Vašut, also the winner of this year's SAZKA Prize for "discovery in dance" was announced. The award was given to a young student of JAMU Kateřina Stupecká.
The Dancer of the Year went to Nataša Novotná from 420PEOPLE for her interpretation of Golden Crock and B/OLERO choreographies. Spectators will be able to admire her dance on 15th-16th November in Ponec theatre. The Light Design Prize was finally and after a careful reconsideration not awarded, however the special mention was given to Tomáš Morávek. Light design is one of the youngest field in our country and it is necessary to support its further development and acknowledgement. The Prize is awarded by the Light Design Institute.
