Thomas Steyaert graduated at High Institute for Dance in Lier in Belgium. In 2002 he became a member of Ultima Vez and performed in the following pieces of the ensemble: Blush, Sonic Boom, Les Porteuses de Mauvaises Nouvelles, and Puur. In 2006 he decided to leave Ultima Vez and to start his own career as a choreographer. His creation consists of the pieces De Dans van Vulpes Vulpes, the project Hidden Landscapes which he has created for the Czech ensemble DOT 504, and Dance of Canis Lupus created for the dance formation VerTeDance.
