Věra Ondrašíková

 

Věra Ondrašíková studied choreography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU). As a dancer, she participated in projects by Czech and international choreographers. At the Masdanza festival in the Canary Islands, she won the "The Most Outstanding Dancer" price as well as the main prize for group work. Her performances have been presented at the Biennale de la danse in Lyon, Aerowaves, Tel Aviv Dance Festival, Munich Dance Festival and many others. She created the choreography for Havel's Anticodes on the New Stage of the National Theatre, which was also performed in Washington, Miami and New York in 2013. In 2017, she collaborated as a performer with Japanese choreographer Min Tanaka. She teaches contemporary dance and choreography at the Department of Nonverbal Theatre and the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU). She also conducts workshops abroad.
